At the 2006, Applefest.

The Southern Michigan Folk Society is a group Delbert put together in 2002, made up of students, friends, and family. Rather than do recitals, Delbert thought playing for a real audience would give his students an opportunity to experience the entire process of live performance, including choosing material, rehearsing, and feeling the audience response. The Southern Michigan Folk Society has performed at outdoor festivals, upscale restaurants, micro-breweries and private parties. The group is ever-changing, with as many as twenty-two performers on stage at one time. This makes for an electrifying experience, musically and visually!! Below are pictures of the group members throughout the years.
